Who We Are

  Messy Minds was founded by Joanne Hill and is co-led with her fellow Director and COO, Kerry Lewis.

They bring a blend of lived experience, professional depth, and a very real passion for helping people feel seen, understood, and valued for who they are - not who they’re expected to be.

 A Bit About the Founder’s Story

Joanne has more than 20 years’ coaching experience across sport, leadership, corporate development, and neurodivergent thinking. A former FTSE 100 leader, building high-performing neurodiverse teams where different thinking styles were recognised as a genuine competitive advantage.

Her ADHD diagnosis at 47 shaped the heart of Messy Minds, a place where people can finally make sense of themselves and feel understood, not judged.

Joanne and Kerry also co-host the “You’re In Detention” podcast, which offers free, honest, real-life conversations about neurodivergence. It has become a safe place for thousands of people to feel heard and less alone - which reflects our wider mission as a company.
